Sun. March 12 10:00 am Meet at Bear Hollow (#16) trailhead on River Road 1/2 mile south of Ridge Road junction. Bring a lunch. (4 hrs, 3 miles)

Tue. March 14 6:00 pm Meet at inspiration Point. Bring a flashlight. (3 hrs, 2 miles)

Sun. March 19 10:00 am Meet at Perry Entrance Gate. May car pool. Bring a lunch (3 hrs, 2 miles) Bring children, they are very good at finding hidden creatures.

Thurs. March 23 10:00 am Meet at the Highbanks Camper Contact Station Parking Lot (opposite side of park road from Perry Entrance). Bring a lunch. (4 hrs, 3 miles) May have access to a part of the Park that you would not ordinarily visit by yourself.

Search for tiny animals in hidden places with an expert naturalist in Letchworth State Park. A great walk for kids! Meet at the Castile Entrance Gate at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 25, 2006. Bring lunch and beverage. 3 hours 2 miles. Hand lenses are useful.

Indoors. Learn about the Fungal Kingdom and its role in life on earth. Lots of examples to examine. Meet at the Visitor Center at Letchworth State Park at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2006. 2 hours.

Spring has Sprung! Join an expert naturalist to look for signs of spring in Letchworth State Park. Meet at the Mt. Morris Entrance Gate at 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 26, 2006. 3 hours, 2 miles.

Take a longer, more challenging hike on the wild East side of Letchworth State Park. Meet at the River Road Junction on Route 408 out of Mt. Morris towards Nunda on Wednesday March 29, 2006 at 10:00 am. Will car pool. Dress for the weather and bring lunch and beverage. On and off trail with elevation changes. 4 1/2 hours, 4 miles.

DOCENT TRAINING BEGINS! The first training and informational meeting for Letchworth State Park Docents will be Tuesday, April 4 at 10 AM. Come and learn about the program and the park. Meet at Park Visitor Center. Bring a friend!
