Hike a section of the Letchworth Branch of the Finger Lakes Trail. Learn about the nature and history of the woods you walk through as well as about the trail system in New York. Meet at the Bear Hollow Trailhead on River Road between Ridge and Frost roads at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 3, 2007. Dress for the weather and bring a lunch and beverage. We will car pool. (6 hours, 5.5 miles)

Visit the biggest tree in Letchworth State Park as well as other slightly smaller giants. Travel off trail on the wild eat side with an expert naturalist guide. Meet at the Sycamore Trailhead on River Road just south of the Picket Line Road junction at 10:00 am on Sunday, November 4, 2007. Be prepared for whatever the weather brings and for steep hills and brush. Bring a lunch and beverage. (3 hours, 2 miles)

Learn how plants propogate by studying a collection of seeds from Letchworth State Parks huge variety of trees and other plants, guided by the expert naturalist who assembled the collection. Meet in the Conference Room of the park visitor center at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 4. (2 hours, stay as long as you wish)
