St. Helena Valley East Trek

Explore the wilder east side of Letchworth State Park with an expert naturalist on this longer, mostly off-trail hike. Meet at the junction of River and Oakland Roads at 10:00 am on Sunday, March 2, 2008. Bring water and lunch and dress for the weather. Expect brush and steep terrain. If snow is more than 6 inches deep, snowshoes may be useful. 3 1/2 hours, 2 1/2 miles.
