Volunteer Opportunities

Help clear the trails at Letchworth State Park. Meet at the Castile Entrance at 10:00 am on Sunday, May 20, 2007. Bring hand tools, work gloves. 2 to 3 hours, 1 mile.

Meet at the Castile Entrance to Letchworth State Park at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 2, 2007 to participate in a trail work session to celebrate National Trails Day. Bring work gloves, water and hand tools like pruners, weed whips, etc. 2 to 3 hours 1 mile.

Meet at the Castile Entrance to Letchworth State Park at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 3 and spend a couple of hours helping clean up and mark park trails. Entrance fee waived for volunteers. Bring hand tools (pruners, grass whips, bow saws) and work gloves. (2 hours, 1/2 to 1 mile)

DOCENT TRAINING BEGINS!

The first training and informational meeting for Letchworth State Park Docents will be Tuesday, April 4 at 10 AM. Come and learn about the program and the park. Meet at Park Visitor Center. Bring a friend!
